CMYK - A world of Colour - Daigo-ji temple, Kyoto, Japan

A temple of the Shingon sect of Japanese Buddhism, the Daigoji temple complex stands southeast of central Kyoto and includes an entire mountainside. In the very back of the Shimo Daigo area is the Bentendo Hall, probably Daigoji's most photographed building, in November it is surround by a brightly coloured display of autumn leaves (Koyo). The reds, oranges and yellows of these stunning colourful leaves are to the Japanese autumn what cherry blossoms are to spring.
